Mike Morin's debut on KESM was an interview he did with a roving reporter at the EL Dorado Springs Founder's Day Picnic. (He called it harrassment, we called it an interview.) And as the say, "the rest is history". Mike is a sports junkie. He eats, drinks & breathes sports. So hiring Mike as Sports Director at KESM was an easy decision. He got started announcing Bulldog Softball. Now he is at every sporting event that KESM covers. From EHS to ECS, he wears those school colors proud. (Pictured above-Mike Morin & Joe Barger at Houston, Missouri, in their broadcast "bunker") On Wednesday nights, he hosts the Coach's Show at 8 o'clock. Each week he interviews the head coaches from both schools, as well as outstanding student athletes, and Faculty advisors from the various clubs at both schools. When Mike isn't attending sporting events, or working at his "real" job, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 5 kids, daughter-in-law and grandson. HIs hobbies include watching his wife run, church activities, watching plays and musicals, sports and food. His wife sometimes lets him "borrow" her iPod. And when he was asked what his favorite artists are, he said,"The same as everybody else. Kansas, Boston, Eagles, REO Speedwagon, James Taylor, The Village People, Rascal Flatts, Travis Tritt and The Bare Bottom Boys. Isn't that what everyone else said?"
