"PASS IT ON" KESM & the Kansas City Royals are teaming up to bring "Pass It On" to EL Dorado Springs! On Thursday, July 10, former announcer, Fred White, and 5 former Royals players will be in EL Dorado Springs for a FREE, one day, baseball camp. "Pass It On" is a program for the former players to pass along their knowledge and love of baseball and to help young people. They will give the kids instruction on hitting, pitching, fielding and running the bases. The camp is open to area boys and girls ages 7-16. Parents and coaches are encouraged to attend. And don't worry, there will be an autograph session following the 3 hour camp. Scheduled to appear are John Mayberry, Dennis Leonard, Marty Pattin, Les Norman and Jerry Terrell. So join KESM and the Kansas City Royals for "Pass It On", Thursday, July 10, from 1-4 pm at the El Dorado Springs High School baseball field. Refreshments will be served by the El Dorado Springs High School and Middle School Booster Clubs. Listen to KESM for more details. |
